The jewel of the Occitanie region, the town of Rocamadour in the Lot is unique in its history, architecture and renown. Built into the rock above the River Alzou, it has been a Christian stronghold since medieval times. An essential stopover on the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela, the religious city of Rocamadour is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
